Registration Desk
The conference registration desk will be open on Sunday, 18 May 2003 from 16:00 to 18:00 h at Sanjo Conference Hall.
From 19 to 23 May 2003, the registration desk will be open from 9:00 h onwards in Sanjo Conference Hall.

Language
The official language of the Conference is English. There is no simultaneous translation.

Demonstration/Exhibition Corner of Thermodynamic Database/Software 
From 14:15 to 15:15 on May22, the corner for the demonstration and exhibition of thermodynamic database and software will be set. The corner will continue to be open during the succeeding poster session from 15:15 to 17:15 depending on the numbers of exhibitions and demonstrations. Persons or companies who wish to demonstrate or exhibit thermodynamic database/software are requested to apply by February 14, 2003. Since the total area for the demonstration and exhibition is limited, the acceptance for the application will be first-come first-served base. The registration only for the Demonstration/Exhibition Corner of Thermodynamic Database/Software is no charge. Area of approximate 3mx2m, desk and panel for each demonstration and exhibition will be assigned. The electricity supply will also be prepared, but please bring your personal computer, etc. for your demonstration/exhibition.

Visa
It is your responsibility to check if you need a visa for entering Japan. Check at your Japanese embassy or consulate.

Liability
The organizing committee cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to the private property of participants and accompanying persons, either during or indirectly arising from the 11th International Conference on High Temperature Materials Chemistry.

Internet
You can not use Internet and E-mail in Sanjo Conference Hall. If you want to use them, ask to the stuffs in hotels you stay.

Weather and Dress
In the middle of May, the weather in Tokyo is usually mild and average temperature is around 15 to 20 oC. However, some rain may be expected, and therefore we advise you to bring an umbrella or raincoat.
